The Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) has officially launched the updated version of its Sea Dubai portal as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen and develop the emirate’s maritime cluster.
Amer Ali, Executive Director of DMCA, said: “The launch of the updated version of Sea Dubai is part of our commitment to keep abreast of, and lead, rapid developments within the global maritime sector and establish Dubai as a global cluster for all types of maritime leisure activities.”
At the Dubai International Boat Show, the DMCA team presented a detailed explanation of the latest updates. These include the provision of more comprehensive services for the development of anchorage areas, yachts and cruises, licenses for yachts and training companies, and the provision of information on marinas and maritime associations. The Sea Dubai initiative also now encompasses water bikes, sea sports, restaurants, floating shops, beaches and public water transport, including water buses, water taxis and traditional modes of transportation such as abras among others.
