
TMS Global Awards 2026 to take place at Guildhall, London
The Maritime Standard Global Awards 2026 will take place on 7 July 2026 at Guildhall, London, celebrating outstanding achievements across the worldwide maritime industry. The awards will recognize organisations and individuals who have demonstrated excellence and innovation in their respective fields.
The awards cover a wide range of categories, reflecting the diversity and scope of the maritime sector. Categories include the Safety and Security Award, Technology and Innovations Award, TMS Digital Transformation Award, and Sustainable Shipping Award. Achievements in shipbuilding and repair are recognized with the Shipyard or Ship Repair Facility of the Year, while excellence in transportation and logistics is acknowledged with the Transportation and Logistics Award. The Maritime Education and Training Award highlights achievements in education and professional development.
Operational and commercial excellence will be recognized with awards such as Bulk Shipping Company of the Year, Tanker Operator of the Year, Ship Manager of the Year, Ship Supplier of the Year, and Ship Owner or Operator of the Year. Legal, insurance, and brokerage contributions are acknowledged with the Maritime Law Firm of the Year, Marine Insurer of the Year, and Marine Broker of the Year. Key industry stakeholders including Classification Societies, Terminal Operators, Ports, and Shipping Companies will also be honoured.
Special awards recognize leadership, innovation, and influence in the maritime sector, including the Deal of the Year, TMS Young Person in Shipping, TMS Woman in Shipping Award, TMS Editors’ Choice Award, TMS Newsmaker of the Year, TMS Personality of the Year, TMS Outstanding Achievement Award, TMS Lifetime Achievement Award, and TMS Maritime Visionary Award.
The TMS Global Awards build on the legacy of the TMS Awards for the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent, hosted in Dubai, which have established a reputation for credibility, scale, and broad industry representation. The Dubai awards are held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline.
