Abu Dhabi Terminals (ADT) has launched its new training program aimed at UAE nationals with a high school diploma. The initiative, called Al Khayyal, aims to prepare young Emiratis for operational roles at Khalifa Port. Reflecting the company’s strong commitment to Emiratisation, a new batch of students is expected to start every month.
The two-month training program has been designed to enable young people to become skilled operators of quay cranes and other container handling equipment. “Our aim is to inspire UAE nationals to consider a career in the maritime sector and understand the role the industry plays in the future growth of the Emirate,” said Eisa Hasan Al Marzouqi, senior HR director of Abu Dhabi Terminals.
