Opsealog renews fuel efficiency partnership with ADNOC L&S
Marseille-based Opsealog, a leading provider of data integration and performance management services for the marine offshore industry, has announced the renewal of its long-term fuel efficiency and fleet performance contract with ADNOC Logistics & Services (ADNOC L&S). The new agreement strengthens the existing partnership established in 2020 and now extends across more than 100 offshore support vessels (OSVs), reinforcing both companies’ commitment to operational optimisation, emissions reduction and sustainable offshore logistics. The collaboration originally began as a proof-of-concept deployment involving 11 vessels and has since expanded into a fleet-wide digital performance program supporting large-scale offshore vessel operations.
The renewed agreement signals a new phase in the partnership, with ADNOC L&S planning to integrate preventive maintenance insights and contract performance modules into the platform. This expansion is expected to enhance predictive decision-making, improve asset reliability and further optimise vessel utilisation across its offshore fleet.
Since implementation, the initiative has delivered measurable operational and environmental performance gains, including fuel savings exceeding 20,400 m3 and greenhouse gas reductions totalling more than 55,600 tonnes of CO2. These results highlight the growing role of maritime data analytics, emissions monitoring and fleet optimisation software in supporting decarbonisation goals within the offshore energy and shipping sectors.
At the core of the program is Marinsights, Opsealog’s fleet performance management platform, which provides customers with centralised visibility into vessel activity, emissions tracking and productivity metrics. The system enables near real-time decision-making that improves efficiency across key performance areas such as fuel consumption, engine running hours and operational benchmarking. Notably, the solution operates without requiring onboard hardware installation or capital expenditure, allowing scalable deployment across complex offshore support vessel fleets.
“This strategic partnership ensures we maintain complete visibility across one of the world’s largest OSV fleets,” said Captain Mohamed Al Ali, Senior Vice President, Offshore Logistics at ADNOC L&S. “Opsealog delivers the critical data that empowers operational decision-making, optimises fleet planning, and strengthens ESG compliance as we advance toward ADNOC Group’s ambitious target of Net Zero by 2045.”
