Gulf Agency Company (GAC) Oman and Hydrex have signed an agreement to work together to add underwater maintenance and repair activities to GAC Oman’s existing portfolio of services offered to the shipping industry in the port of Sohar and other key ports in Oman.

He points out that Hydrex has an established track record in Sohar, having carried out a number of underwater maintenance and repair projects in the surrounding waters. “That impressive track record drove us to work with Hydrex to extend this same standard of excellence to our principals,” Dr Silva adds.
Established in 1972, GAC Oman is a leading provider of shipping and logistics services in Oman covering the ports of Muscat, Salalah, Sohar, Sur, Khasab and Duqm. The company supports a range of different cargo types and vessels with ship agency, husbandry, protective agency, bunker fuel supplies, launch and drydocking services. Its logistics services encompass freight services, project logistics, land transportation, international moving and contract logistics, with a warehousing facility next to its head office in Al Khuwair, Muscat, supporting these logistics operations.
