
Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) and Drydocks World Dubai last week signed a Memorandum of Understanding to work together on maritime projects in the UAE and across the GCC. The agreement establishes a strategic partnership to support local maritime services and industries. According to a statement the MoU aims to enhance knowledge transfer and the exchange of capabilities between the two companies and is the basis for future cooperation agreements. The alliance between ADSB and Drydocks World will seek to achieve strategic growth in the UAE maritime sector by acquiring more projects of mutual interest, the joint statement also pointed out.
Commenting on the occasion Dr. Khaled Al Mazrouei, chief executive officer of ADSB said: “We are excited to partner with Drydocks World. It will open new horizons for establishing cooperation between our two companies, and will support the national economy in maritime services. I am confident in the success of our new partnership in offering best-in-class naval and commercial vessel maintenance services to the GCC and beyond.”
