The third annual TMS UAE Yearbook 2018/19 has been published and is now available in both hard copy and online formats. The official launch will take place this week at the SMM show in Hamburg.
Distributed worldwide, including at many of the world’s major shipping and ports related events in Europe, Asia, The Far East and Middle East, The Maritime Standard UAE Yearbook is set to reach a huge audience both within the UAE and internationally. As such it will help to raise the profile of local maritime industries and present their success stories to a wider market.
Yearbook editor, Clive Woodbridge, says, “Over the past year there have been so many significant developments in the UAE’s maritime sector, including substantial investments in port facilities, shipping, shiprepair and shipbuilding, logistics and support services, and it was a privilege to be able to cover them in-depth through this publication. The Yearbook provides a valuable insight into the buoyant state of this important part of the UAE economy and we believe it will be an essential point of reference for anyone interested in the maritime business in this part of the world over the year to come.”
Included in the Yearbook are profiles of leading maritime businesses and operations in the UAE, including DP World, Abu Dhabi Ports, Drydocks World, Abu Dhabi Shipbuilding, ADNOC Logistics, Gulf Navigation, Tristar, Tasneef and Dubai Maritime City Authority. Trevor Pereira, managing director of TMS, adds, “All the major players are covered, as well as many other companies that make a significant contribution to the UAE maritime hub. If you are interested in the recent activities and future plans of the top UAE companies in this field, then this is the publication for you.”
