Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has promoted a total of eleven lawyers to its partnership, including two that will strengthen its marine and trade sector activities and two that have ship finance experience.
Dubai-based Saif Almobideen has been named a partner in the firm’s marine and international trade group. Saif is a bilingual civil-law qualified lawyer who has considerable experience handling complex cross-border disputes before civil law courts within the Middle East region. He has a special focus on matters relating to shipping, insurance, crisis management, commodities and trade finance, and enforcement of foreign judgements and arbitration awards.
In addition, Cathal Leigh-Doyle has also been made a partner in the firm’s marine and international trade group. Based in London, he specialises in energy litigation and international arbitration, particularly in connection with decarbonisation strategies, offshore wind and hydrogen projects. Ship finance lawyers Ezio Dal Maso, who is Paris-based, and Jeffrey Tanner, located in Singapore, will also be joining the Stephenson Harwood partnership.
