SAL Heavy Lift is introducing a brand new regular service linking the Arabian Gulf and Indian Subcontinent with West, South and East Africa and North Europe. This is in response to the rapidly developing oil and gas, refining and transport infrastructure sector in West Africa especially.
SAL views the new service as a logical extension of its existing regular North Europe to Far East service, via Suez. Scheduled to provide clients with a minimum of two sailings per month in each direction, calls to either North/South America or Australia can be made on inducement.
SAL Heavy Lift, a member of the Harren & Partner Group, is one of the world’s leading carriers specialising in the ocean transport of heavy lift and project cargo. It has a modern fleet of 21 heavy lift vessels with speeds of 20 knots, up to 3500 m2 of unobstructed main deck space and combined crane capacities ranging from 550 to 2000 tons.
