
DP World Mundra Sets Monthly Container Throughput Record
DP World’s Mundra International Container Terminal (MICT) achieved a new milestone in August 2025, handling 142,273 TEU in a single month. This marks the terminal’s highest-ever monthly container throughput, surpassing its previous record of 138,983 TEU set in March 2025.
With direct connectivity to major global markets across the Far East, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe and the United States, Mundra continues to enhance its international trade links and strengthen supply chain resilience for businesses in India and beyond.

DP World Mundra is equipped with a 632 m long quay and a deep draft capable of accommodating large container vessels. The terminal also includes a 50 acre Container Freight Station (CFS) and benefits from dedicated on-dock rail connectivity. As part of its commitment to sustainability, the terminal has transitioned all container handling equipment to electric power, significantly cutting diesel use and reducing annual carbon emissions.
