Abu Dhabi Ports has announced the appointment of industry veteran Samir Chaturvedi as chief executive of Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad). Chaturvedi will be tasked with overseeing further growth of Kizad to facilitate global trade and the flow of foreign direct investments to the industrial zone that occupies an area of more than 410 sq km.
He brings with him over 35 years of experience in the logistics, automotive, supply chain management, real estate and infrastructure development sectors. Prior to joining Kizad, Chaturvedi had worked with many large global organisations within the Middle East, India and South-East Asia.
