
Neptune Lines new Middle East short sea shipping car transport service is now in operation. The regular, two-loop service, interchanging weekly, will be operated in an initial phase by the Greek company’s car carrier Neptune Ploes, connecting eight countries in the Gulf, including United Arab Emirates, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain.
One loop will link Jebel Ali, Bandar Abbas or Sohar, Umm Qasr, Kuwait and Khalifa Port. A second loop will connect Khalifa Port, Doha, Bahrain, Dammam and Jebel Al. Highly competitive transit times will be offered on all service legs, the company states.
