This year, for the fourth time in a row, The Maritime Standard Awards 2017 will be held in the grand setting of the Ballroom at Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai. It can now be confirmed that the glittering event will take place on the evening of Monday October 23rd – so please put that date in your diary now.
This is an occasion where key people – chairmen, chief executives, managing directors and other senior figures – meet with the industry. It thus presents a unique opportunity to network with those decision makers and opinion formers who truly influence the maritime business in the region.
The Awards are renowned as an occasion filled with grandeur, high quality production values, fabulous entertainment, unparalleled networking opportunities and excellent food, The Maritime Standard has set the bar high and is now widely accepted to be the premier gala awards event in the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent. Managing director, Trevor Pereira says, “This year we are going to exceed all past achievements and set the bar as high as we possibly can. All the key decision makers will be there, ensuring truly global coverage. So winners and sponsors are guaranteed to raise their profiles in their chosen marketplace. And our judging panel will make sure these Awards have genuine value and reputation right across the industry.”
The glittering occasion recognises and rewards achievements at the highest level and will be attended by over 700 top maritime executives from right across the region and indeed worldwide. A total of 29 Awards will be presented on the night, the majority determined by a high quality judging panel established to ensure that only the best of the best secures a coveted award, and that the process is open and transparent.
