Saudi Arabian shipping company, Bahri, has initiated a service into India with maiden calls by the ro-con vessel Bahri Jeddah into Kamarajar Port in Ennore and the Chennai International Terminal towards the end of December.
Bahri says that the vessel will in future call regularly at Ennore and, on an inducement basis at Chennai, offering direct calls from South India to the US East Coast.

Bahri Logistics has been present in the Indian market since 2000 and has established itself as a prominent player in the country’s maritime sector. The company connects Indian shippers to markets in the Arabian Gulf, Red Sea, Mediterranean and the United States with its multi-purpose RoCon ships. The company’s service also helps connect India to Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean through connections at various trans-shipment hubs.
