Breakfast with EMAC in March, brought together a wide community of bunker traders and lawyers to listen to a presentation by Rania Tadros, Managing Partner and Natalie Jensen, Managing Associate from Ince & Co., about bunker contamination cases.
The presentation duo both have extensive experience in bunker case handling and sought to share with the delegates the types of issues that are repeatedly encountered in bunker contamination and the consequences that arise as a result. Safe bunker operations, proper follow through on testing and proper processing of documentation are amongst the steps that Ince & Co. advice on, in order to ensure that parties are well positioned to protect themselves in case of a dispute.
EMACs Breakfast Series has increased in popularity. In keeping up to date with industry trends and concerns, we ensure that value for time is delivered in our monthly breakfast gatherings. We stand fast in our mission to provide a trusted global standard in maritime arbitration and mediation, and we hope that these breakfast seminars affirm our commitment, said Mr. Majid Obaid bin Bashir, Acting Chairman and Secretary General, EMAC.
This presentation is aptly timed in preparation for this years Fujairah Bunkering and Fuel Oil Forum (FUJCON) between 25-27 March, 2019 at the Fujairah Al Diar Siji Hotel. As a forum sponsor, in addition to an exhibition stand, EMAC will be holding a Breakfast seminar on 25th March at 8am, discussing how the Centre can support and add value to the bunkering industry.
The next Breakfast with EMAC seminar will continue on 22nd April at EMACs DIFC offices.
