Boxcoworld FZE, which offers end-to-end multimodal logistics solutions, celebrated the official opening of its new warehouse in Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), UAE, in December this year. The facility, built in response to increasing demand from Boxcoworld customers across the globe, was opened in the presence of the Guest of Honour, Abdulla Bin Damithan, CEO & Managing Director of DP World UAE & JAFZA, along with the founder of Boxcoworld, Vir Kotak, and the company’s CEO, Udit Mittal.
Speaking at the opening ceremony Bin Damithan said: “Right from the start, our primary objective has been to simplify trade and build an ecosystem where businesses can grow. Whenever we see organisations such as Boxcoworld enabling smarter trade, we make it a priority to support them, and the launch of their new facility in Jafza will surely add a new dimension to the advanced logistics capabilities of our world-class free zone.”
Boxcoworld says it decided to invest heavily within Jafza to capitalise on its strategic location close to Jebel Ali port and Al Maktoum International airport. The new warehouse is multi-purpose facility with a capacity of 10,000 pallet positions. Equipped with latest equipment and monitoring systems, the facility also complies with the latest and highest global standards for health, safety, and environment (HSE).
