AD Ports Group and Burjeel Holdings have officially launched Docktour, a new healthcare logistics joint venture that aims to revolutionize the delivery of medical infrastructure and services, starting with markets in Africa.
The Docktour venture brings together AD Ports Group’s extensive logistics network with Burjeel’s expertise in healthcare delivery to create a transformative platform in healthcare supply chain solutions. The venture is expected to address gaps in modular healthcare infrastructure, medical training, and emergency response logistics—key pain points across underserved regions in Africa.
Docktour will leverage AD Ports Group’s established logistics infrastructure in key African markets, combining supply chain technology with customized healthcare solutions designed to meet regional needs. This integrated platform aims to streamline healthcare delivery, making critical medical services more accessible and efficient.
Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO of AD Ports Group said, “Docktour is about delivering impact where it’s needed most. By combining our logistics strength with Burjeel’s medical excellence, we are building a platform that can truly transform how healthcare is delivered in Africa.”
This announcement comes amid a growing trend of UAE-led investment in Africa’s healthcare and logistics sectors, reflecting the increasing demand for sustainable, scalable, and rapid medical deployment models. The joint venture aligns with both companies’ broader goals of driving innovation and improving health outcomes in emerging markets.
