DP World reports record financial results for 2025
Dubai-headquartered DP World has announced record-breaking financial results for 2025, with revenue rising 22% to US $24.4 billion and adjusted EBITDA increasing 18% to $6.4 billion. Net profit for the year climbed 32.2% to US $1.96 billion, reflecting strong growth across the global ports and logistics group.
The company’s Ports and Terminals business segment performed particularly well, with total global container throughput rising 5.8% to 93.4 million TEU. Like-for-like revenue per TEU also increased by 8.5%, highlighting strong demand across DP World’s international terminal network. Throughput at the group’s flagship Jebel Ali facility in Dubai remained stable at around 15.55 million TEU in 2025, just 0.1% higher than in 2024.
DP World invested US $3.1 billion in capital expenditure in 2025, up from US $2.2 billion in 2024, supporting capacity expansion and productivity enhancement projects across its global ports’ portfolio. The investment increased the group’s total global port capacity to 109 million TEU annually. For 2026, the group’s capital expenditure budget is approximately US $3 billion and will primarily focus on a small number of priority projects, including expansion and enhancements at Jebel Ali, Drydocks World, Tuna Tekra in India, and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
Commenting on the results, H.E. Essa Kazim, Chairman of the Board of Directors, DP World, said: “In an environment defined by heightened uncertainty and changing trade dynamics, our diversified portfolio, disciplined capital allocation and focus on high-yield cargo enabled us to deliver resilient earnings and strong cash flow. These results reflect the strength of our integrated platform and our ability to adapt as supply chains reconfigure.”
Despite the challenging regional environment, all terminals at Jebel Ali Port in Dubai are operating normally. Ahmad Yousef Al-Hassan, CEO and Managing Director, DP World GCC, said: “We are monitoring developments in the Arabian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz closely and operating our Dubai ports and terminals with enhanced safety and security measures. Jebel Ali Port’s container and general cargo terminals remain fully operational, and we are working closely with the UAE authorities, shipping lines, logistics partners and other UAE ports to minimise disruption and support the continued movement of cargo for customers.”
