On Sunday 12 May, members of maritime law firm Stephenson Harwood’s Dubai team, along with their families, showed their true community spirit when they prepared, cooked and served Iftar meals to workers at the Al Wasl Mosque. The team received tremendous help from the Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights Hotel and Residences, which provided its open kitchen, Al Manzil, for this initiative.
The event was organised by Stephenson Harwood partners Rovine Chandrasekera and Edward Newitt, and its counsel, Sunita Singh-Dalal. Rovine says, “It was great fun and I am glad we could help support the local community in this way. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food we prepared! I am proud of my team for all their hard work on the day and of course for the way our families also rallied round to help.”
