Takhzeen Logistics Company (TLC) is setting up its first logistics platform in the UAE. A state-of-the-art temperature controlled warehousing facility, TLC Dubai is located at Dubai World Central, covers an area of more than 6000m2 and provides a capacity of over 8,500 pallet positions. The aim of the investment, the company says, is to facilitate trade connections between the UAE and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with good transportation using a fleet of reefer and ambient trucks, as well as having specialised Customs Clearance Agents at borders.
The new Dubai facility will use an advanced Warehousing Management System, which will control the process of offloading, sorting, picking, packing, putting away, shipping and inventory control. Services offered by TLC Dubai will include warehousing, value added services, customs clearance, cross docking/shipment consolidation and transportation of goods by road within the region.
According to Mr. Al Muthana Al Kaid, Executive Director, TLC, “Our warehouses are equipped with temperature monitored devices to track deviations and provide alarms. Along with our 4PL business partner, Integral DMCC, we are committed to continuously improve our business processes in order to not only meet, but exceed the expectations of our existing and potential customers.”
